Payment

• Invoices for flat fee monthly bookkeeping are sent at the end of the month for that month’s services. Payment is due within five (5) days of the date of the invoice.
• Invoices for hourly work are submitted as agreed with the client or on the first of the month for the preceding month. Payment is due within five (5) days of the date of the invoice.
• A late fee of $15 or 5%, whichever is greater, will be assessed on any invoice more than 30 days overdue and every 30 days thereafter until the invoice is paid.
• If a monthly invoice becomes 60 days overdue, no further work will be completed on any project, including work in preparation for taxe return filing, until the account is brought current.
• Once an invoice becomes 90 days overdue, no further work will be completed and no further requests accepted from that client.
• Payment may be made by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, check, money order, Zelle, ACH or wire transfer.
• A $35 fee will be assessed on all returned checks. If a check is returned for insufficient funds, no further checks will be accepted from that client.
• These payment policies help us keep receivables low so we can bring you the best prices possible.

Telephone Calls

Virtual Technique’s work requires concentration and often long stretches of uninterrupted time to complete work. We strive to provide each client a high-quality product and often work scheduled for completion is calendared well in advance.  Accordingly, we have the following telephone policies:

• It is recommended that all telephone calls are scheduled through email. Upon request for a telephone call, you will be sent a link to use to schedule time on our calendar at your convenience.  Please include what you need to discuss so an adequate time slot can be chosen.
• All calls have a hard stop time. If you exceed the time allotted, you may be asked to schedule another call.
• Calls exceeding 15 minutes are billed at the client’s hourly rate. For monthly flat fee clients, calls are included, except for cancellation and no-show fees.
• For calls 15 minutes or less, 12 hours-notice is required for cancellation or the client will be assessed a $25 cancellation/no-show fee. A client is considered a no-show if he/she does is more than 5 minutes late to the call and will be assessed a no-show fee.
• For calls that exceed 15 minutes, 24 hours-notice is required for cancellation or the client will be assessed a $25 cancellation/no-show fee. A client is considered a no-show if he/she is more than 10 minutes late to the call and will be assessed a no-show fee.
• In its sole discretion, Virtual Technique may waive the cost of telephone calls or cancellation/no-show fees in its sole discretion.
